Suri Alpaca Males, Tempo Genetics, Top 10% EPD's

Meet 2 Point Farm's Bocelli by Tempo and 2 Point Farm's Chrysos by Tempo, a white and fawn Junior Herdsire duo backed by outstanding genetics. These males will be 4 years old in 2024 and are ready to breed. They would be good additions to an existing male herd that needs a few more members as they get along well with their herd mates. They each can offer different fiber traits for your females in addition to their color. They could also be part of a male starter herd for anyone new to alpacas. They are both easy to handle and halter trained.

Both males are Top 10% EPD's in 2024. Bocelli's best traits are his fineness, with 8.4% ranking for both Average Fiber Diameter and Spin Fineness. Chrysos' best traits are Mean Staple Length ranked at 6.7% and Fleece Weight at 5.4%. If you have questions about how either or both of these males could improve your female(s) I'm glad to discuss.

Their sire, Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar is a proven champion producer with 1% EPDs for the last six years. His top show awards include 1st Place at the 2021 and 2017 Suri Network Fleece Show for Get of Sire, and multiple Judges Choice, Spirit of the Industry and Best Lock awards.

2 Point Farm's Bocelli is a 7/8 Accoyo male and is the offspring from two of our champion producers Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar and Toni's Sapaccoyo Raggy Doll. Bocelli's histogram shows he has both fineness at 20.5 AFD and uniformity at 4.6 SD. In the 2021 EPD;s Bocelli ranks in the Top 5% with 3.36% for Fibers >30%, 4.2% for Spin Fineness and 4.4% Avg Fiber Diameter. Bocelli's first fleece had a 6.5 inch staple length. His total fleece weight was 4.6# (6.9# annualized) with a blanket weight of 3.7# (5.1# annualized). He has an easy going temperament and is developing into a male that will add fineness and uniformity to your Suri herd.

2 Point Farm's Chrysos by Tempo is the offspring of our multi-champion herdsire, Eldora's Tempo by Rockstar and Big Timber's Cocobolo. Chrysos ranks in the Top 10% EPDs for 2021, with 5.3% for Fleece Weight and 5.9% for Mean Staple Length.

These boys are best buddies, as they were born within 4 days of each other and have been together ever since. Would like to see them stay together.
