Zeke is now pronking over the rainbow bridge, we will miss this beautiful boy.
We are very excited to bring MMALP Beau's Zeke into our herd! This guy has fabulous fiber backed by data, a champion pedigree and quite the show record! When I saw his fleece, just back from the Southern Alpaca Celebration, where he won another Color Championship and 1st place ribbon, all I can say is WOW!
Zeke's fiber stats are top notch and above average for both his age and color group. His histogram shows an Average Fiber Diameter of 21.7 at almost 2 years of age on a brown fleece!! His skin biopsy results at 25 months shows density at 57 follicles/SQ MM, a Secondary/Primary fiber ratio at 11.2 to 1, and an average spread of Secondary to Primary fibers at only 6.2 microns, with 4 of 4 gland presence.
Zeke was bred to a true black dam and sired a stunning multi colored cria in 2020; however, due to an accident, it did not survive.
Zeke's sire is Black Beau of PVA, a True Black Futurity Champion from the Diamonte of PVA and Kobe of PVA lineage. His dam, Star's Bang Bang, is also a Futurity and multiple Championship winner. As a juvie Zeke won a Reserve Color Championship at the Futurity!
In his short show career Zeke has accumulated a long list of wins including 7 Champion/Reserve Champion wins, 14 Blue Ribbons, and a Best Bred & Owned award at some very competitive shows.
